Monday, October 16th

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Tennis Team. By defeating Northwood High yesterday the Wildcats completed a perfect 14-0 regular season to win the Big 8 Conference Championship. After starting the season 0-2 the team has won 15 straight tennis matches. Great job.

There will be a speech and debate meeting this Monday/Today(when read on Monday) after school in the slant room from 4 to 5:30pm. All current AND NEW members should attend. See you there!

This week is SAY SOMETHING Week! SAVE Promise Club will be sponsoring activities all week to teach students how to look for warning signs, signals and threats of any kind of violence and to SAY SOMETHING to a trusted adult to get help.

iGEM will be holding an informational meeting for new members today at lunch in Ms. Berge's Room at Room 183. Come by to begin your journey as a researcher to solve real-world problems with genetic engineering!

There will be a Model UN meeting TODAY during lunch for those planning to attend MiniMUNCH. If you are planning on going to MiniMUNCH, please come to Mr Atwood's trailer (trailer 6) during lunch!

The October 16th 2017 Driver's Ed. Class List is now posted. Please check the list for your name. Also, there are a few available slots .

There will be a Student Government meeting tomorrow in the slant room during lunch!! We will be discussing fundraising opportunities!

September 15th through October 15th is recognized as National Hispanic Heritage Recognition. NAS and FAME are excited to recognize and celebrate the contributions and important presence of Hispanic and Latino Americans in North America. On Wednesday, October 18th, please enjoy the Latin music played between classes, and join us at lunch we will be passing out lollipops containing relevant Hispanic facts. All are welcome in helping us recognize this national celebration of Hispanic Heritage.

There will be a German Club Meeting on Friday at lunch.

Come one come all to Eastainability's FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR this Wednesday in Ms.Shindledecker's room (room 231). Even if you didn't sign up during club week, pop into the meeting to learn about Eastainability new projects for the year! See you this Wednesday!

The meeting is at lunch time and if you have not yet signed up to join Teachers2Teachers, please come anyway and you will be our newest member. Bring a friend. Oceans at East will have it's first meeting this Thursday in Dr. Snyder's room (room 230 in upper B)! If you want to learn about field trips and the Blue Herron Bowl this is the meeting for you! See you this Thursday.

Rise for Youth and NHS are hosting a hurricane relief benefit concert in the auditorium on December 1st. All funds raised at the event and t-shirt sale will be donated to the victims of the recent hurricanes.
